It was a cold windy night, but what a nice crowd we ended up with at ALI-BAB. Our MC (and fellow koto player) Chiaki Nakamoto did a great job of keeping the audience entertained while Tomoe and I retuned the kotos between pieces. Everyone seemed to enjoy the wide selection of music as well as the great French food served in the interval between the first and second halves of the program. We are considering another show at ALI-BAB - maybe in the late summer??? If you were unable to make it this time, maybe we'll see you then! |
